Magic Pants for All Occasions

My friend, Melinda, has been in search of the perfect pair of pants for two decades.  She calls any pair of pants that make her look really thin, but round in all the right places, magic pants.  While she'll skimp on the price of most every other piece of clothing, if the pants are "Magic," the sky is the limit.  Well guess what Melinda? I just ran across some magic pants.  And Magic Pants is actually the name on the inside label.  Magic Pants are the brainchild of none other than the owner of Lynn 's Paradise Café, Lynn Winter.  They are lightweight, stretchy and come in every color and design you can imagine.   And Magic...yes they are. I wore a pair last night and lets just say they somehow transform the body in some very nice ways.  How, I have no idea, but who cares?

Winter traveled the country until she found a person in Wisconsin to make her Magic Pants. This person lives somewhere so remote that Winter has to fly on a small, single-engine plane to some kind of mystic island, probably where little elves are sewing away on the magic trousers.  The best part about these pants, you can wear them to yoga class then right out the door and into a restaurant or off to the boardroom.

Both women and men are buying them.  In fact, a professional male wrestler is a customer and so is an eight-month pregnant woman.  According to store managers, converts come in to buy as many colors and styles as they can. The pants are available in a variety of sizes so you're sure to find a pair that spins just the right bit of magic on you.

Where can you find these pants of Magic?  Well right now they are sold exclusively at the World of Swirl. The shop has been open since November in the front of Lynn 's Paradise Café.  Besides the pants you'll find all sorts of fun items like stationary, toys, purses and kitchen utensils. Buy yourself a spatula and a pair of Magic Pants to wear while you're cooking those pancakes.  So how much for a pair of these pants?  They sell for between $70 and $85 - not a high price for so much perfection.  Melinda, your search is over.

Lynn 's Paradise Café and the World of Swirl are located at 984 Barret Avenue in Louisville . The phone number 502-583-EGGS.
