New Laser Treatment Rejuvenates Skin Appearance, Reduces Discomfort and Requires No Downtime

New technological innovations are providing better options to those seeking skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, hair removal, vein therapy and overall skin rejuvenation. If your body is in need of an aesthetic upgrade, there is a laser out there that can handle the job. Hi-tech non-surgical procedures such as laser treatments have become effective alternatives to surgery that requires healing and downtime.

Lasers and light-based therapy have been gaining popularity in the United States as millions of aesthetic laser procedures are being performed every year. The Cutera CoolGlide Aesthetic Laser System includes settings to treat skin concerns and imperfections such as spider veins, sun and age spots, unwanted hair and scars. This revolutionary laser system also includes TitanT, the most advanced technology available today to deliver dramatic results without the downtime.

TITANT TIGHTENS SKIN ON FACE AND BODY

TitanT is the first infrared light-based solution to treat wrinkles and lax skin throughout the body, including the abdomen, thighs and arms. It is also used to tone, lift and tighten skin on the face and neck. Using an infrared light source, the Titan ProcedureT heats the dermis to cause collagen contraction while preserving the epidermis through continuous cooling. In addition, TitanT stimulates long-term collagen rebuilding that leaves patients with firm, radiant, younger looking skin.

Some patients have experienced immediate results after the first TitanT treatment. Others see results within a few months as new collagen forms and skin is tightened producing a rejuvenated healthy glow and more youthful appearance. Patients generally require from two to four TitanT sessions about a month apart, and most find the treatments have little discomfort. No premedication or sedation is needed and there are no incisions to care for post-treatment. Most treatments require approximately one hour, and patients may return directly to work or social engagements with no down time.

Competition in the marketplace does exist for Cutera's Titan procedureT. Other lasers claim to firm the skin, smooth out wrinkles and stimulate. However, significant pain is involved with those lasers and local or topical anesthesia is recommended. TitanT treatments cause very little discomfort and are extremely tolerable, as no anesthesia is needed. In addition, the energy level on TitanT can be raised or lowered according to the patients' discomfort tolerance level.

The typical TitanT patient is in her late thirties to fifties and has noticed a change in the firmness of her skin as well as the development of fine lines and wrinkles. Combining TitanT with some of the other Cutera laser modalities such as spider vein therapy, laser genesis and hair removal, a client can achieve a noticeable improvement and overall rejuvenation of the skin. Significant results can be achieved with additional treatments such as microdermabrasion, cellulite treatments, anti-aging facials and chemical peels. Integrating these non-surgical treatments is an effective alternative to more invasive surgical procedures.

There are additional procedures to supplement the aforementioned laser and skin care treatments. Injectibles such as Botox® and RestylaneT are temporary solutions to facial lines and wrinkles, yet results are achieved virtually instantaneously with little discomfort and no downtime. RestylaneT is also used to fill and plump lips.

The options for skin improvement and overall aesthetic upgrade are numerous for those who do not wish to have surgery. Injectibles, microdermabrasion, peels and laser treatments such as TitanT, combined with a consistent skin-care product regimen can make a dramatic difference and leave patients with radiant, rejuvenated and more youthful looking skin.
